Almost a year after The Game Bakers revealed Cairn, their latest title, the climbing simulator was showcased during the June 4 State of Play, announcing the upcoming release date, as well as a playable demo that’s available right now.
The game will put players in the climbing shoes of Aava as she aims to reach the summit of a mountain that’s never been conquered. There are no set paths to be taken, so players are free to tackle the mountain from any starting point as they navigate their way to the top.
For those unaware of The Game Bakers’ previous work, they were the studio behind the boss battler, Furi and the sci-fi RPG, Haven. Both of which were received favorably by critics and gamers alike, so hopefully, Cairn will be another worthwhile adventure from the studio.
Cairn launches on PlayStation 5, as well as other Current-Gen consoles, on November 5th, but gamers can get a feel for the title and its gameplay through the demo available right now.
