Roku’s New 2025 TVs Have Mini-LED on a Budget

Roku just launched an entire line of new and improved TVs for 2025, and they’re available today at countless retailers starting at only $130. Building on the success of the earlier generations, the all-new Roku Pro, Roku Plus, and Roku Select Series TVs have a lot to offer, including Mini-LED technology at an affordable price point.

We’re all familiar with Roku-powered TVs, devices, and streaming sticks, but the company also makes its own TV line. Last year, Roku went big with its Pro Series TVs by offering Mini-LED displays, and now that same great technology is rolling down to its cheaper Plus series. Basically, the company now offers something for everyone.

Roku’s 2025 Pro Series TVs Have It All

The star of the show is Roku’s new and improved Pro series, which is its flagship product. For 2025, the Pro series still packs Mini-LED technology. Only now will it have 75% higher dynamic contrast with precision tone mapping and factory-calibrated colors that will deliver beautiful scenes with life-like images and video.

The company also redesigned its in-house image processing, which ensures your Pro Series TV will automatically adjust the picture settings on a scene-by-scene basis. The end result is a viewing experience with improved motion clarity, correct compression, and the best picture mode for any moment. Here’s what Roku had to say about these new TVs:

“Since launching our first Roku-made TVs two years ago, we’ve focused on creating products that marry our easy-to-use software with thoughtfully designed hardware to give our customers the best possible experience—something simple that both looks and sounds great,” said Paul Nangeroni, Senior Director of Product Management at Roku.

The 2025 Roku Pro Series is available in 55, 65, and 75-inch models, starting at $599. You can buy one starting June 10th from retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

2025 Roku Plus Series Brings Mini-LED to Everyone

Perhaps the most exciting part of this announcement is that Roku’s mid-range Plus series uses Mini-LED panels, meaning even better picture quality and clarity without a high price tag. This should put other manufacturers like TCL and Hisense on notice, as the Plus series is pretty affordable.

What Is a Mini-LED TV, and Why Would You Want One?

Mini-LED TVs offer more local dimming zones, which means improved contrast and deeper blacks. They’re not hugely expensive, either. Here’s what you need to know.

With the new Roku Plus Series for 2025, you can get a 55-inch TV for only $347, which is a steal considering what Mini-LED offers. The Plus series has many of the same features as the Pro line, including Roku’s Smart Picture Max technology that adjusts things on the fly to make everything you watch look better.

The Plus Series will have deeper blacks, better contrast, and life-like vibrancy thanks to Mini-LED. You’ll also enjoy an on-TV remote finder button, upgraded cable management, and a built-in subwoofer for improved audio. While we’ll have to test one ourselves, considering the Plus series now has Mini-LED and a subwoofer, it could end up being one of the best mid-range TVs on the market. Again, these new 2025 model-year TVs are available today at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.

Roku Select TVs Get Even Bigger

And finally, we have the cheapest models in the line, the Roku Select Series. These are budget TVs in every sense of the word, but they’re still highly capable options that come in a variety of sizes. More importantly, those who want a huge TV without a huge price tag can now get a Roku Select 85-inch TV.

The Roku Select Series will be available in 24-inch models starting at $130, 32-inch variants, and 43-inch models for $217. It will then span all the popular television sizes, including an 85-inch option. Depending on the price, you’ll get a TV that’s either HD, FHD, or 4K on the bigger models.

And finally, Roku’s Select series will now have support for Dolby Audio on all models and HDR10+ support on the 4K screens, making them an even better option vs. some of the more affordable competition.
