Today, PlayStation’s Days of Play begins, bringing tons of great deals on PS5 and PS4 games on the PS Store, as well as discounts on accessories and consoles. This includes the recently released PS1 remaster that modernizes a cult classic platformer.
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster is 25% off on PS Store
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is currently 25% off on the PS Store. This brings its price down to $22.49 from its typical $29.99 price tag. Players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on June 12 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
“Croc Legend of the Gobbos is the heartwarming journey of an endearing, humble little crocodile equipped with only his iconic backpack and a wiggly butt as he platforms his way across a series of unique worlds by running, jumping, climbing, swimming and tail spinning on his quest to rescue his adopted family of Gobbos from the grasp of the evil sorcerer Baron Dante and his impish Dantini hordes,” reads the description.
When the remaster of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos was released last month, it was met with mixed reception. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 67 across 15 critic reviews.
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos was originally released for the PS1, Sega Saturn, and PC in 1997. Although the reviews for its remaster were middling, it’s commonly praised as a solid 3D platformer from the 90s.
