Originally releasing exclusively on Xbox Series X and PC at the back end of 2024, the famed archaeologist soon made his way to PlayStation 5 consoles less than half a year later, on April 17.
The adventure game was released to a slew of praise, and even had God of War creator, David Jaffe, calling it his 2024 Game of the Year. The game was developed by MachineGames, most known for their modern Wolfenstein titles.
The first piece of story DLC for the game, titled The Order of Giants, now has a release date of September 4. Better yet, like the actual launch of the game, there’ll be no wait as the story DLC will launch on the same day across all platforms, meaning no explorer needs to wait to don their fedora and whip before exploring new chapters.
The latest chapter will see Indiana Jones taking to the streets of Rome and below as he tangles with a deadly cult whilst trying to uncover the dark secrets of the Nephilim Giants. The teaser trailer shows more puzzles to tackle, new enemies, and some stellar-looking cutscenes.
