A breakout hit PS5 action role-playing game is getting a PS Store discount for the first time, much to fans’ delight. Game Science has announced that Black Myth: Wukong, which shattered sale records and won countless awards, will be 20% off on the PS Store.
Black Myth: Wukong’s first ever PS Store discount goes live on June 18
The discount will coincide with preorders going live for Black Myth: Wukong’s much-awaited Xbox Series X|S release. The game’s timed PS5 console exclusivity had caused quite a stir after Game Science alluded to Xbox Series S optimization issues being the reason the game’s multi-console release was held back.
Nevertheless, Black Myth: Wukong will be available on Xbox Series X|S on August 20. PS5 players who have yet to pick up the title can avail the 20% discount between June 18 and July 3.
Black Myth: Wukong’s standard is currently $59.99 and its digital deluxe edition is $69.99. Game Science has said that “all digital editions” will receive the aforementioned discount, so we expect both editions to drop in price.
Bear in mind that Black Myth: Wukong comes with a $10 digital deluxe edition upgrade as well, so we’ll find out in due course which version comes out cheaper in the sale.
