If you’re like this contributor, and was wondering what Arc System Works was looking at making next, today you got your answer. The legendary developers behind the Guilty Gear and Blazblue series announced that they’re currently hard at work working on the new 4v4 team fighter, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
Arc System Works has previously noted that they had an interest with working with Western IPs, and… well, a Marvel fighter with the pedigree they have? There’s very good reasons to be excited, here! As a fresh announcement there’s not much information yet, however. What’s currently known is that the roster thus far consists of Captain America, Spider-Man, Kamala Khan, Doctor Doom, Star-Lord, Storm, Ghost Rider, and finally Iron Man.
Otherwise, all we currently know is that it’s out next year, and it seems to presently be only for for the PS5, Steam and the Epic Store.
