PS5 Pro players are hoping for Cyberpunk 2077 enhancements in the surprise update that was announced by CD Projekt RED yesterday. After weeks of rumors, CDPR confirmed that a new patch was in the works but stopped short of spoiling the surprise.
Will Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 Pro support be part of the surprise update 2.3?
With the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel in pre-production, players weren’t expecting much more from the current game but fans unearthed evidence that suggested CDPR had more content planned.
There is some speculation that Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 will add new DLC based on discoveries made within the game, but PS5 Pro players are crossing fingers for a surprise patch after CDPR said last year that it “currently” had no plans for a PS5 Pro patch.
“Yes, 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 is coming, we have been cooking for you in secret for a bit,” said associate game director Pawel Sasko. “As usual, I’m taking care of the update personally and we will communicate more, when it’s ready.”
At this point, it’s hard to say what the update will entail as CDPR has kept things tightly under wraps. But if recent leaks are anything to go by, it will be a hefty patch.
