Despite being marketed as a “PS5 Pro enhanced” title, the Silent Hill 2 remake has struggled with performance and visual issues on Sony’s upgraded console problems that didn’t appear on the base PS5 version. Developer Bloober Team initially released a patch in November to address the issues, but many players continue to report technical shortcomings.
Bloober Team has confirmed that work on a new update is ongoing. In a statement to Eurogamer, the studio said:
“We are working with the publisher on a solution and will share more details as soon as we can.”
There’s still no release date for the PS5 Pro-specific patch, but at least fans can rest assured that improvements are in the pipeline.
