Following June 4’s State of Play, Team Asobi announced that five new challenge levels would be heading to Astro Bot next month.
The team have since posted on PlayStation Blog with more details about these levels, including the launch date of July 10.
The inclusion of these new levels means there will be 90+ levels in the main game, with all additional levels being added via a free update, like all previous level content Astro Bot has received.
The new levels will be part of the Vicious Void, with four of the levels being named, whilst the fifth level’s title is being held back until release. The update also teases that ‘completing all the levels in the Vicious Void may lead to something really cool?’ So we’ll have to wait and see what that could be.
As you’d expect there are new special bots to be rescued too, with Atsu, from Sucker Punch’s upcoming Ghost of Yotei game being the only announced bot.
